Welcome to the web site for the original paintings of Judith A. Maddox Saylor Allison. Through her paintings, she shows us a magnified world. A world in which the beauty of nature is reflected, at its heart. Like the seashell that is left behind on the shore line...she also finds beauty in the skull that once hosted a living creature. Her portfolio includes paintings of New Jersey, New Mexico, Florida and other parts of our America...tropical leaves... the Heliconia and Sea Grape, ...trees...the Sea Grape and Palm, ...flowers of the tropics...orchids and hibiscus and of northern climes...sunflowers,...endangered species...the Loggerhead Turtle,...seascapes of near and far and ...seashells, both large and small. These paintings celebrate nature.
It is my hope ... that these paintings will open a dialogue with nature, so we can stop for a moment, to look and to see... the tree... the leaf... the flower at our feet, our nature...yours and mine. It is worth the stopping...and the seeing.
